Itinerary

Day 1:
 Transfer and Tirana Sightseeing
Tirana sightseeing - "The Albanians" - a mosaic on the face of the National Historical Museum, Statue of Skanderbeg in Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque at the south east corner of Skanderbeg Square - The Clock Tower next to the Et'hem Bey Mosque, Government buildings: at the south end of Skenderbeg Square . Roman Catholic Church of Saint Paul: The Tabakëve and Terzive bridges (respectively in front of the Parliament building and on Elbasani Street) date from the beginning of the 20th century. The Palace of Culture (Pallati I Kulturës), where the Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the National Library stand, The monument to Mother Albania, 12 metres high, was inaugurated in the Dëshmoret e Kombit cemetery in 1971. The Academy of Sciences building , The Gallery of Figurative , The International Cultural Centre, Popularly referred to as ‘the Pyramid’.The Palace of Congress, and President Resident, all this wonderful buildings, extended, along the Bulevard Deshmoret e Kombit, Accommodation in Hotel Prestige 4* or similar in Tirana. Enjoy the welcome dinner in traditional restaurant.
Day 2:
 Durres - Berat - Ohrid (250 km)
After breakfast depart for to the city of Ohrid. Proceed to Elbasan,short stop at Elbasan for sightseeing , continue to Struga famous for its wall of water where the Black Drin River flows out of Lake Ohrid on its way to the Adriatic. After a short visit continue to Ohrid where we take a familiarization tour of the town, proclaimed UNESCO World Heritage region for its cultural and natural legacy. Accommodation at 4* Hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Ohrid.
Day 3:
 Ohrid Full day and Ohrid lake sightseeing (60 km)
Buffet Breakfast in the hotel. Meet all the group at hotel lobby for departure trip. Depart for full day sightseeing tour in Ohrid. Ohrid - At the lake side resort of Ohrid, classified as a UNESCO`s World Cultural Heritage site. Thanks to the activity of St. Clement and St Naum of Ohrid, the first Pan-Slavic University in Europe - the famous Ohrid Literary School was founded here. Morning sightseeing tour includes the church of St Sofia (11th century), the most eminent medieval monument in Macedonia with magnificent Byzantine fresco paintings, and St Clement`s Church with its icon of Annunciation. Afternoon short drive for a visit to the St Naum Monastery built on the shores of the Ohrid Lake in 900 A.D. The monastery is dedicated to the Slavic missionary and educator St. Naum of Ohrid. Return to hotel, overnight. PM / Free Walking in the city.. Enjoy the dinner at typical restaurant and overnight. Accommodation in the 3* hotel.
Day 4:
 Ohrid - Pogradec - Korca (70 km)
In the morning, after the breakfast meet the group at the hotel lobby for departure trip Before leaving Korca following via Pogradec, make a stop to visit Pogradec City/coffee at the lake shore. Korca - It is the largest city in the South – Eastern part of Albania. It is situated at the foot of Morava Mountain. It became an important trading and handicraft center in the 18th century due to the development of trade with neighboring regions. The museum of Medieval Art is in Korca. It presents the material culture of the Albanian people. Interesting is also the first Albanian school, opened in 1878, houses this museum. Visit Birra Korca factory brewery and lunch a beer garden. (Extra payment ) optional. Accommodation in 3* Hotel and Overnight in Korca.
Day 5:
 Korca - Permet (130 km)
After this great experience we will continue our way to Permet known as “Flowers City,. On the program today is a short walk of 20-30 minutes in one of the villages of Permet housing a wonderful church , St Mary Church, with incredible frescoes. Leusa is a traditional village made of stone where we will visit the church and a local family where we will experience an authentic way of life. Walk through gardens, picking ingredients by yourself, and learn how to cook traditional food like Japrak and Gliko. Home - made wine and “Raki” are pleasant drinks to accompany your food. After lunch visit you’ll see Leuses Church build in 1614. Dinner in local family where we will have some special Raki and where you will taste all the traditional specialties in a family restaurant. Accommodation in 3* Hotel. Overnight in Permet.
Day 6:
 Permet - Berat (170 km)
In the morning, after the breakfast meet the group at the hotel lobby for departure trip. Leaving Permet and continue driving to Berat. Short stop with possibility for optional lunch in the traditional restaurant in Vjosa River. Afternoon arrival in Berat, UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is also known as “the city of thousand windows”. After the check in into the hotel, visit in Mosque, the Holy Trinity Church and Gorica Bridge, enter into the Berat Castle for a guided tour in Onufri Museum. In the evening enjoy traditional food in Castle Park restaurant on the hill, facing the lights of the city. We will taste some delicacies of this region, such us pickles, local cheeses, bio olive oil, several kinds of bread etc. in their rustic form; the main Specialty of the restaurant is young goats’ meat done in a traditional way. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight in Berat.
Day 7:
 Durres - Kruja mediaval - Tirana (170 km)
After breakfast transfer to Durres (one of the oldest and most important cities of Albania), There are also several museums such as Byzantine Forum, Venetian Tower (small castle open as a bar), Ancient city wall, Amphitheater which is one of the biggest in the Balkan Peninsula; it has the form of an ellipse with the capacity of 20.000 spectators. The city's beaches are also a popular destination for many foreign and local tourists. Visit the Skanderbeg factory, where the famous Skanderbeg cognac is produced and where we can taste this delicious drink. After we continue to the historical city of Kruja, where you’ll visit The Medieval castle and the museum of our National Hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg and Ethnographic Museum. Kruja, the home of Albania's most important hero, Scanderbeg, who in the 15th century successfully kept the Turks at bay for over thirty years. A stop to the old bazaar where you can have handmade souvenirs shopping. Lunch in Panorama restaurant where you can taste several good traditional food like “tave kosi” and “burani”. Afterwards we head transfer to Tirana where we will spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure before a dinner in a special venue overlooking the capital. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight in Tirana.
Day 8:
 Departure
After breakfast in the hotel, free morning time at leisure. Check out from the hotel, Transfer to Tirana Mother Theresa airport and leave Albania
