Itinerary

Day 1:
 Thessaloniki/ Arrival
Our journey of the bewildering Balkans starts at the heart of Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki's most important tourist attraction. Visit White Tower, the symbol of the city at the seaside, a 500-year-old sea fort and later a prison. Now it is the Museum of the City of Thessaloniki and its top floor offers a great view to the sea and the city. Aristotelous Square,Agios Dimitrios Basilica,famous Byzantine church, the place of martyrdom of St. Demetrius.The Rotonda, A large cylindrical Roman structure built by the Roman emperor Galerius. We still don't know what it was built for, but it was converted into a Christian church during Byzantine times and into a mosque during Ottoman times. Transferred to 3 star hotel. Overnight in Thessaloniki.
Day 2:
 Thessaloniki - Kalabaka
After the breakfast to the hotel, the tour will proceed toKalabaka rests at the bottom the Meteora rocks, an awe-inspiring sight. The rocks that make up Meteora are sheer cliff faces. They appear to come out of nowhere, jagged, black rocks that rise up into the sky, with monasteries the clinging to the cliffs. The city was hit badly in World War II so the current town has a modern feel about it. With Kalabaka as a base, you are free to explore the Meteora and the six monasteries that reside upon the rocks. Accommodation in 3* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Kalabaka.
Day 3:
 Kalabaka - Ioanina - Butrint - Saranda
After breakfast to the hotel, continue to Ioanina, short visit in Ioanina continuing from the border to Albania via Igumenitsa, stop in Butrinti Unesco World Cultural Heritage-since 1992, Butrint is only 18 km of distance from Saranda and includes such sights as the Askelapius temple, the theater, the stoat, the portals, the baptistery, the Venetian fortress, and more. The ecosystem surrounding the area is a national park, offering you the opportunity to walk in a real Mediterranean “jungle”. Visit new excavations of the Roman Colony of Butrint. The trip proceeds to Saranda city which is located along the Ionian coast, near the Greek island of Corfu. These two locations are connected via ferries, making it possible for tourists to visit all the marvelous sites of the city of Saranda. The city was mentioned in the first century B.C. with the name Onhezmus. In the evening visit to Lekursi castle from where you’ll enjoy a charming view of Saranda bay and the island of Corfu, 9 km of distance from Saranda. Accommodation at 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Saranda.
Day 4:
 Saranda - Gjirokastra - Berat
In the morning drive to Gjirokastra,Unesco World Cultural Heritage, In Gjirokastra the dwelling houses have the form of medieval towers constituting a building ensemble with a characteristic architecture. Visit to the Castle and the Museum of Weapons. After continue to Berat is Albania’s most beautiful town; lying in a picturesque setting on the banks of the Osum River, it is ringed by the Tomorr and Shpirag Mountains. Berat is also known as ~The town of a thousand windows~ Town is enlisted at UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight in Berat. Included: Lunch,Dinner.
Day 5:
 Berat - Ohrid
Morning, sightseeing of the Berat fortress with the local guide departure for Ohrid, driving thrugh Elbasan and crossing the Macedonian border at Cafasan. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Ohrid.
Day 6:
 Ohrid - Skopje
Morning sightseeing tour in Ohrid, UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site. Tour includes the Church of St. Sofia (11th century), the most eminent mediaeval monument in Macedonia with magnificent Byzantine fresco paintings and St. Clement Church with its icon of Annunciation. After the brake at Ohrid departure for Skopje. Afternoon Sightseeing tour of Skopje, including Old Bazaar, Stone Bridge, and the Fortress. Accommodation at the 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Skopje.
Day 7:
 Skopje - Gracanice - Prishtina - Prizren - Decani - Peja
After breakfast the tour continue through scenic panorama driving to Kosovo – one of the most newest countries in the world. Stop for a short visit Gracanica Monastery which was constructed on the ruins of an older 13th century church of the Holy Virgin, which was built on the ruins of a 6th century early Christian basilica. The tour continues to Prishtina (the capital) ,stop for a short visit, drive to Prizren probably the most attractive town in Kosovo with superbly preserved buildings from the Ottoman era. We visit the castle which is one of the oldest in the Balkans (almost 3 millenniums). Proceed to Decani Monastery near Peja. This monastery is a wonderful example of the Orthodox religious architecture and art part of UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must for anyone visiting Kosovo. Accommodation 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Peja
Day 8:
 Peja - Gjakova - Fierza - Shkoder
Morning we will drive Proceed to Fierza lake where we will take the ferry which passes through the spectacular canyon of the Drini River The ferry ride across Lake Koman allows you to see some spectacular scenery, not unlike a Norwegian fjord winding its way between high cliffs and towering peaks. We will leave the ferry in Koman and traveling towards Shkoder/ Skadar center of Roman Catholicism in Albania and a town with long historic roots, and the only mentioned capital of the Illyrian Kingdom. Visit the pedestrian area with Italian influences and the Castle thought to exist from Illyrian times. Visiting the famous fortress Rosafa enjoying the views to the lake Skadar and entire region . Accommodation at 4* Hotel . Overnight and dinner in Shkodra.
Day 9:
 Ulqin - Cetinje - Budva - Kotor - Trebinje
Morning drive to Montenegro border,and continue toward to the historical city of Ulqin which is also the center of the Albanian community in Montenegro. Olciniumi antic,it is one of the most famous historical city decorated by roman architecture style, gothic and oriental too. Ulqini was founded around the V-th center BC by Illirians.In 163 AD it was occupied by Romans and after the separation of the Roman empire belonged to Byzant On 1405 Ulqin & Tivari (Bar) were occupied by Venetian republic and under its rules the city takes the name of Dulcigno and belongs to Albania Veneta region. In 1880 it was occupied by the principalities of Monte Negro. Proceed to Budva,visit in the Old Town along with the city of Budva where was said that is was discovered by a Greek sailor by the name of Boutoua, founded in 4th century B.C. After Budva departure toKotor, classified as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site, where we visit its Romanesque Cathedral dedicated to St Triphun, the city’s patron saint. Continue to Trebinje,BiH. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Trebinje.
Day 10:
 Trebinje - Dubrovnik - Trebinje
Morning continue to Dubrovnik, UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site, Pearl of the Adriatic – find out why! city Tour of Dubrovnik starts with the visit in Stradun, Onofrio`s Fountain, Orlando`s Column, Church of St Blaise, Cathedral with its famous Treasury, Franciscan Monastery and Dominican Monastery. Return to Trebinje .Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Trebinje.
Day 11:
 Mostar - Sarajevo
Morning continue to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Hercegovina. Stop in Mostar for short excursion; Old Bazaar, the Turkish House, old Mosque, Mostar Bridge. When you go to Sarajevo what an experience ... its life! It is a town with a personality; it has that special something which separates places and people that we remember from others whom we merely pass, without leaving traces or memories. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Sarajevo.
Days 12:
 Sarajevo - Visegrad - Belgrade
Leaving Sarajevo in the morning. Trip towards in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia through Visegrad. Višegrad has a famous stone bridge built by the Ottomans in 1571, by the order of Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic. Accommodation in 4* Hotel. Overnight and dinner in Belgrade.
Day 13:
 Belgrade
Morning city tour of Belgrade, with the local guide. Kalemegdan fortress and park, Terazije square, King Milan Street,Old Royal Palace, New Royal Palace, St Sava Orthodox church, The House of Flowers , The old bohemian quarter“Skadarlija” Free afternoon to explore this magnificent city. Dinner (optional) at one of the popular Belgrade restaurants. Overnight in Belgrade.
Day 14:
 Departure
Free morning time at leisure. Transfer to Belgrade airport and flight back.
