Very early in the morning we will drive to Koman where we will take the ferry which passes through the spectacular canyon of the Drini River,transfer to Koman, where our ferry ride begins
(important to note that the ferry trip depends on the water level of the lake). The ferry ride across Lake Koman allows you to see some spectacular scenery, not unlike a Norwegian fjord winding its way between high cliffs and towering peaks. We will leave the ferry in Fierza, from where the trip will continue to We cross the border into Kosovo,and drive to the city of Prizren, probably the most attractive town in Kosovo. Tiny Kosovo is Europe’s newest (official) country: a handful of landlocked mountains, poppy-dotted meadows and oak forests smack bang in the middle of the Balkans.
We visit the castle which is one of the oldest in the Balkans (almost 3 millenniums), built to protect the city from attacks, the ornate Bajrakli Mosque and the old Turkish Hammam among other sights.
Prizren(old town sightseeing, fountain square), Visit proceed at Visoki Decani Monastery,Situated on the road between Prizren and Pec in the west of the country, Visoki Decani Monastery built in 1327 is one of the most controversial places of worship in the Balkans. Although Kosovo doesn’t officially have a religion, the majority of the population consider themselves to be Muslim, yet the monastery is part of the Serbian Orthodox Church and home to/managed by monks from the Eparchy (region) of Raska and Prizren, one of the most ancient dioceses in the Serbian Orthodox Church.Visoki Decani Monastery is in fact listed by UNESCO.( this monastery is preserved by KFOR and is administrated by the Serbian orthodox church.

Morning, when you arrive, head out of the city to Fushe Kosova (Field of Blackbirds), which the country is named after. This flat area outside the capital is the site of the 1389 battle of Kosovo, a skirmish that lead to the Ottoman Empire finally taking control of this area of the Balkans, and a battle that some argue is one of the reasons for the problems that still affect the region. There is a memorial here that commemorates this important historical event. Also nearby is the tomb of Sultan Murat, leader of the Ottoman Empire in the 14th century,
Proceed to Gracanica monastery, the monastery was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and on 13 July 2006 it was placed on UNESCO’s World Heritage.
Driving to Skopje, capital city of Maqedonia, dating from Roman times, Skopje was captured by the Serbs in 1282 and was the scene (1346) of Stephen Dušan’s coronation as czar of Serbia. It fell to the Turks in 1392 and until the fall of Constantinople (1453) was considered the second city of Turkey. walking sightseeing of Skopje and its most important monuments, sites and the city center (The Old Bazzar, Fortress Kale, church of St.Savior, memorial house of Mother Teresa…)

Afternoon short drive for a visit to the St Naum Monastery built on the shores of the Ohrid Lake in 900 A.D. The monastery is dedicated to the Slavic missionary and educator St. Naum of Ohrid. After lunch depart for Berat, one of the most visited and characteristic towns in Albania under the protection of UNESCO as a patronage of humanity for its architectural uniqueness.
Berat is also known for its close ties with religious practice as two of the oldest bibles in the world have been found here. One date back from the 6th century AD and the other from the 9th century AD and are internationally renowned for their theological importance. Visit the Leaden Mosque, the King’s Mosque, the Bachelor’s Mosque and the Alveti Tekke completing a tour of this town’s religious tolerance.

After breakfast visit the Castle and the Onufri Museum. Berat castle is of particular interest as people still live within its walls in their traditional houses, as have their ancestors for centuries. The castle used to have over 40 churches of which 7 still remain including St.Mary’s church turned into Onufri Museum. Onufri was a famous Albanian Icon master painter of the 16th century who painted many orthodox churches in Albania and Greece, using a special red color.
After visit the Castle, depart to the city of Durres for sightseeing (venetian tower, amphitheater, Archeological museum, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeu distillery with cognac tasting),
Continue to Tirana. accommodation in Tirana.3* hotel, dinner at the hotel
In afternoon ,walk of central Tirana. It’s the capital of Albania and its biggest city, but it’s still small and compact, with architectural influences from Italy and Turkey.
Visit the Skanderbeg Monument, which are all located on Skanderbeg Square (Skanderbeg is the national hero of Albania). The main sight in Tirana is the Et’hem Bey Mosque, which sits right on the city’s main square.
After breakfast at the hotel, free time at leisure until departure.
